Lahore police claims to identify two suspects involved in attacking PML-N MPA Bilal Yasin

LAHORE: According to the report, Lahore police claimed to have identified two individuals involved in the alleged attack on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Bilal Yasin in Lahore using safe city cameras.

Although no cameras were deployed at the scene of the incident, police were able to track two males on a motorcycle using safe city cameras situated at a major road some distance away.

“While escaping from the scene, the suspects came into range of the safe city cameras,” they stated, adding that the police have not yet filed a FIR and would proceed after getting a statement from Bilal Yasin, who is currently out of danger and receiving medical treatment.

The CCPO Lahore has also set up a committee to investigate the attack on MPA Bilal Yasin.

Bilal Yasin, a Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), was injured in a gun attack in Lahore on Saturday night by unidentified assailants.

Bilal Yasin, a lawmaker from PP-150 (Lahore-VII), was sent to the Mayo Hospital in Lahore.

Bilal Yasin was shot twice in the stomach and once in the leg, which shattered the bone, according to Mayo Hospital’s medical superintendent (MS).

Usman Buzdar, the Chief Minister of Punjab, has also taken notice of the savage attack and has ordered that the PML-N lawmaker be provided with the finest medical care possible.
