Dr Waleed made distinction by achieving 29 medals in MBBS

Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Fareed Zafar, the Post Graduate Medical Institute and Ameeruddin Medical College convocations were held in Aiwan-e-Iqbal simultaneously. Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the provincial health minister, attended as the main guest.

Dr Waleed MBBS made distinction as he got 29 medals (27 Gold and 2 Silver) medals in MBBS. Dr Waleed said that he used to study for 14 to 16 hours per day and used to sleep only for 2,3 hours. Due to his undue efforts and hard work, he was able to achieve this.

Moreover, Prof. Al-Fareed Zafar also stated during his speech at the ceremony that the Post Graduate Medical Institute’s medical education has benefited thousands of doctors both locally and internationally.

He praised the fact that specialists who graduated from this institution have increased respect for Pakistan’s green passport on a global scale and have turned into a proud asset of the nation by serving as ambassadors and standards of decency.
