CAA introduces modern queue system at major airports of Pakistan
At Jinnah International Airport Karachi and all other significant airports around the nation, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has introduced a more contemporary waiting system.
The facts state that in Karachi, Peshawar, Lahore, and Islamabad, CAA has implemented the zigzag and snake lanes that are typically found in movie theatres and overseas airports.
The new component will simplify the boarding and immigration procedures for visitors. It will also prevent people from occupying someone else’s wait position.
The CAA initiative, which made the immigration, check-in, and boarding processes easier and more effective, was also praised by passengers at the airports.
Prior to this, the CAA had issued a warning to Pakistani visitors concerning the security risks involved with bringing areca nuts (chhaliya) into Turkey.
Carrying chhaliya is not prohibited in Pakistan, but it is classified as a narcotic and a drug in Turkey, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), which made the announcement in the CAA’s official notification.

As a result, the ministry asked the appropriate authorities to warn Pakistani tourists against bringing chhaliya to Turkey due to the possibility of being imprisoned.
In order to inform visitors who are considering trips to Turkey, the MoFA also gave the appropriate organisations the order to share the information with airlines and ground handlers.
