The newly appointed chairman of Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, won people over by sharing how important his teachers have been in his life.
The top general, who is a member of the Sindh Regiment, recently received plaudits after his video with his teachers went viral online. Gen Mirza expressed tremendous regard for his teachers by stating that “we are your products.”
The quote from Alexander the Great, “I am indebted to my father for living, but to my teacher for living well,” may be heard in the background.
