Pakistan denies Russia’s claim of transferring nuclear weapons to Ukraine. Islamabad has refuted Moscow’s allegations that it is in talks with Ukraine to transfer nuclear weapon technology.
Asim Iftikhar, the spokeswoman for the Foreign Office (FO), denied the allegations and stated that the Russian Senator’s erroneous comment is disturbing and damaged relations between the two nations.
In addition, he claimed that Islamabad has asked Moscow for an explanation of the situation. The shocking claims surfaced as Russia emphasized its narrative in response to rumors that Kyiv intended to detonate a radioactive “dirty bomb.”
Igor Morozov, a member of the defense committee for the Russian Federation Council, had earlier claimed that a delegation of Ukrainian experts had visited Pakistan and discussed nuclear weapons technology.
At a news conference titled “Nuclear Provocations in Ukraine: Who Needs It?” the politician made these accusations. Nobody was in the dark, according to Morozov, about Ukraine’s ability to create a “dirty bomb.” But he insisted that the biggest obstacle was a lack of finance.
It is important to note that the Russian leader made claims about Pakistan giving nuclear weapons to Ukraine so that it could wage war against Russia.
When it comes to the aforementioned crisis, Islamabad has also demonstrated balanced diplomacy, as seen by the fact that it has sent humanitarian aid to Kyiv without denouncing Russia’s attack on the European state.
