According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 struck 303 kilometres northwest of Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, on Monday (NCS).
The earthquake happened today at 01:15:01 IST, according to NCS. The epicenter was located at 36.17 degrees north latitude and 71.68 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 120 kilometres.
So far, there have been no recorded casualties. As of yet, no damages have been found.
Moreover, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck a tiny agricultural county on Saturday in central South Korea, but no injuries or significant property damage were reported, according to officials.
According to the weather service in South Korea, out of the 61 earthquakes that have struck the nation this year, the tiny quake that struck the town of Goesan was still the strongest.
At least 11 residences sustained damage, including shattered windows, roofs, and walls.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety reports that as of Saturday night, no one had been injured or required to flee.
