As former President of China, who ruled the country for 10 yrs Hu Jintao was being escorted out as Xi Jinping cements his position in a historic 3rd term. According to reports, the Former President & General Secretary of China, Hu Jintao, was physically removed from Communist Party Congress and has since disappeared.
As a result of important Communist Party members who did not have close ties to President Xi Jinping leaving the country’s top leadership body, the Chinese leader is now formally set to serve a third term surrounded by allies.
Premier Li Keqiang, 67, and fellow Communist Youth League veteran Wang Yang, 67, both of whom were members of the 205-member Central Committee, quit the body. This sets the way for Xi to solidify his hold on the most influential posts in the nation when the ultimate Politburo Standing Committee is presented on Sunday at noon.
