A 22-wheeler trolley carrying peanuts worth Rs 4 million was robbed on Tuesday in the Chakri neighbourhood in Rawalpindi.
The trolley was transporting tonnes of peanuts from Rawalpindi to Peshawar when three dacoits tied the employees to the truck, stole Rs30,000 in cash, three phones, and fled while threatening them.
The criminals removed the entire cargo of peanuts, according to the police, and left the cart empty in a deserted place. They have now been apprehended.
The complainant stated that he does not believe that one of his former employees done this task.
The Police said that they are very near to detain the culprits and will soon arrest them.
