Who is new Vice President of American Business Council?
Just recently, the CEO of KFC Pakistan ‘Raza Pirbhai’ got appointed as the vice president of the American Business Council. Established in 1984, the American Business Council represents all US businesses operating in Pakistan. Built to support American businesses, the council is non-profit and is the largest single-country investor in Pakistan. Currently, the American Business Council houses fortune 500 companies alongside many other small and medium American businesses operating in Pakistan.
The American Business Council has connections with both the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (USCC) Washington D.C as well as the Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce (APCAC) thus it holds a key position by offering an exchange of business and ideas between the two nations. With this appointment, Pirbhai will hold a major position in the council that can bring more experienced businesses into play.
Heading since KFC Pakistan 2014, Pirbhai has extraordinary leadership capabilities. The CEO in his 8 years transformed KFC into the biggest fast food retail brand in Pakistan. Currently, the chain has 104 branches all around Pakistan, all of which see massive customer traffic throughout the day.
Raza Pirbhai is a Commercial, Pragmatic, driven Executive with 20+years of experience in Marketing, Human Resources, and General Management. He worked for various national and Multinational brands before Joining Cupola /KFC Pakistan. Raza entered the phase of the corporate world as a management trainee at Pizza hut and served Pizza hut in various capacities since then, has achieved numerous milestones along the way.
As a leader Raza advocates a growth mindset and a culture where people embrace challenges, become change agents, collaborate, and innovate. His overarching strategies people development skills and articulate implementation of large-scale interventions have made him the most loved CEO not only in KFC Pakistan but in the entire food and beverages industry locally and globally.
Raza is an MBA in Marketing from Greenwich and his passion pursued him for a Master’s degree in Strategic Restaurant management from Cornell University. With his natural talent to embrace challenges and innovate, all of his employees have a sense of respect for him.
