England won the T20I series against Pakistan. England’s mesmerizing teamwork and effort enable them to win the series against Pakistan.
The match started when Babar Azam first won the toss and opted to field first in the 7th and final T20I in Lahore on Sunday. The series was evenly poised, with both teams winning three games each. England’s mesmerizing performance and mismanagement of Pakistan’s cricket team in fielding led to the defeat. Pakistan missed influential catches of the England team and 2 of them were by the captain Babar Azam himself.
Later on, when batting started, Pakistan was 33/2 after 5 overs and it would have been 3 down at that point if England had not dropped a catch in the last over. Khushdil was even trying to search for a single during Reece Topley’s first delivery, but he failed. The required run rate was above 16. The hosts were so painful to watch the last game. As the batter times were all wrong and the limits were seemingly impossible. Pakistan needed huge boundaries but unfortunately, it wasn’t working today.
Former cricketer Javed Miandad also shared his concern related to Babar Azam’s performance. It`s not that the Pakistan skipper is completely out of form. In the ongoing T20I series against England, he has scored 281 runs in six games with the help of a ton. He scored 110 in just 66 balls in the second T20I. PCB should really ask him whether the captaincy is keeping him under pressure.
Moreover, England and Pakistan’s teams included: England (Playing XI): Philip Salt(w), Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, Ben Duckett, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali(c), Sam Curran, David Willey, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, Reece Topley
Pakistan (Playing XI): Babar Azam(c), Mohammad Rizwan(w), Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain.

Kind of confused about Khusdil’s role. Isn’t he supposed to be the hard-hitter Pakistan have been looking for a while now? 🤔🤨#CricketTwitter #PAKvENG
