Today morning, a delegation of the Young Doctor’s Association Sukkur led by President Dr. Abdul Majeed Jatoi met with SSP Sukkur Sanghar Malik to talk about the security issues of GMC Hospital Sukkur. The delegation comprises President YDA Dr. Abdul Majeed Solangi, General Secretary Dr. Unis Solangi, and Dr. Imtiaz. During the meeting, DSP Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Soomro was also present.
SSP Sukkur warmly greeted the panel, Doctors apprised him about all the security issues and threats which are putting obstacles to performing a peaceful duty day and night.
He responded positively by saying there is no compromise on Hospital’s security, Police force will continue to cooperate with medics and announced that soon a police picket will be established close to Emergency Department.
Young Doctor’s Association Sukkur is indebted and grateful to SSP Sukkur and DSP Dr. Zahoor Soomro Sb for their valuable time and provision of a security force for the protection of medics at GMC Hospital Sukkur.
