D I Khan: Attack on PTI’s lawmaker house, Policemen killed
Unknown Armed Assailants opened fire on the house of PTI Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Sardar Aghaz Khan Gandapur, Constable on duty was martyred, Police said on Monday night.
District Police Officer (DPO) D I Khan Najam ul Hasnain Liaquat told The Asian Mirror that on Monday Night, Unidentified persons have opened fired at the house of PTI’s Member of Provincial Assembly from constituency PK-99 Kulachi, Sardar Aghaz Ikramullah Khan Gandapur.
As a result of which the police constable who was on his duty at the gate of the house has sustained injuries. The injured police constable was rushed to the Hospital where he died of his fatal injuries.
The martyred Police Constable was identified as Constable Saif-ur-Rahman
As soon as the incident was reported, Police and security Forces rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area.

MPA Sardar Aghaz Ikramullah Khan Gandapur himself was not at home while his family members including his younger brother Sardar Araiz Khan were at home.
According to the DPO, the attack was carried out by two unknown armed motorcyclists.
It is mentioning that the family of MPA Sardar Aghaz Khan has been in politics for many years, with his grandfather Sardar Inayat Ullah Khan Gandapur serving as Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), his uncle Shaheed Sardar Isar Ullah Khan Gandapur serving as Provincial Law Minister, and his father Shaheed Sardar Ikram Ullah Khan Gandapur serving as Provincial Agricultural Minister.
It should be noted that, the house was the ancestral house of the MPA Sardar Aghaz Khan Gandapur, the father of MPA Aghaz ex-provincial minister Shaheed Sardar Ikramullah Khan Gandapur was martyred in a suicide attact on his car, some days before the 25 July General Elections while MPA’s uncle of ex-provincial minister Shaheed Sardar Israr Ullah Khan Gandapur had been martyred in a suicide bomb blast on the first day of Eid al-Adha while greeting with locals at the same house.
