WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging service, launched a new function for voice notes on Tuesday.
Users can now listen to a preview of their voice messages before sending them.
“They’re not mistakes, they’re rehearsals,” Whatsapp shared on Twitter.
“Now you can preview your voice messages before you hit send.”
The instant messaging service said users may now “express themselves with voice messages they can preview” in a 27-second video clip announcing the new feature.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp has stated that the “Disappearing Messages” functionality will be available within the next week.
The function will allow users to pick how long their messages stay visible, according to a status shared by the messaging business on Twitter.
“With Disappearing Messages, you choose how long your messages stay around. Set to default on all new chats, choose the duration, and get more control of your conversations. Not every message needs to stick around forever. Rolling out over the next few weeks,” WhatsApp wrote.
