ShahNawaz Amir, the son of senior journalist Ayaz Amir and the murderer of his wife Sarah, has recorded his initial statement to the police about the murder of his wife.
Shah Nawaz Amir in his statement to police about the murder of his wife said, he got in contact with Sarah on social media and got married 3 months ago. He said, Sarah came to Islamabad from Dubai a day before her murder and as soon as she came, she brought out a new car.
The accused said, he doubted that her wife was having an affair with anyone adding that she had also satisfied him that she was not having an affair with anyone, but the accused felt that she was an agent of any other country and wants to kill him.
“Sarah also tried to choke me the night before her murder but I saved my life by pushing her back, in the morning at about 9:30 AM Sara came near me and again grabbed my neck, I felt like my neck was going to break and I am gonna die but I again pushed her and she fell down”, the accused ShahNawaz Amir said in his statement adding that “Sarah got up after falling down and again attacked me and in in a try to save myself I hit my exercise dumbells on the head.”
The accused added that Sarah suddenly died due to head injury, due to excessive flow of blood I panicked, I cleaned the blood and put Sarah in the bathtub, after putting her in the bathtub I turned on the tap of water to let the blood flow.
The accused also said in his statement to the police that he took the picture of the bathtub and sent it to my father Ayaz Amir and told him about the entire incident over the phone.
The accused Shahnawaz, son of senior journalist Ayaz Amir, killed his wife Sarah in the Chak Shahzad area of Islamabad currently the accused is in the custody of Islamabad Police.
