NHC has declared Parliamentarians exempt from toll tax. The NHC establishes national policies and guidelines to be followed by the National Highway Authority in carrying out its functions. He has the power to direct and regulate the affairs of the NHA.
According to the NHC, MPs were granted a toll tax exemption, for which a formal notice was also issued.
The toll tax on the Lahore-Islamabad highway will not be levied on MPs’ vehicles. You can show up and leave. Previously, the tax exemption for MPs on the M-2 had been abolished, forcing them to pay a fixed toll just like the general public.
