King Charles would not accede to Meghan’s rumoured demand for a private meeting.
In a last-minute effort to “clear the air” before leaving the UK, Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, is claimed to have addressed a formal letter to King Charles III.
According to a royal insider, the Duchess of Sussex made the “extremely courageous” request to have a “one-on-one” meeting with the future monarch before she and her husband Harry returned to California.
The mother of two reportedly asked her father-in-law for a one-on-one meeting in an effort to make amends after bidding the Queen farewell with tears in her eyes.
A “very good source” allegedly told entertainment and royal reporter Neil Sean that Meghan’s request was made in a formal letter. Neil Sean has appeared on NBC News, MSNBC, and Access Hollywood.
According to Mr. Sean, the letter would “provide chance to set the record straight, distinguish right from wrong, and outline some of the justifications for the actions they’ve taken over the past two years. In all honesty, we are unsure of whether this will proceed.”
The new monarch is aware that Meghan may have requested a one-on-one meeting, therefore Charles won’t grant her request.
