Biden’s claim about Covid-19
Washington DC: United States president, Joe Biden, gave an interview on Sunday where he claimed that “the pandemic is over”, but the little here & their problems with the covid-19 epidemic are still alive. Mr Biden said this in the light of hundreds of Americans getting coronavirus infections daily.
While talking to America’s one of the top news & media agencies, CBS, President Biden added that we still have a got little problem with Covid. We still are doing a lot of work on it. But the pandemic is over.
“Suppose you have noticed that no one’s wearing masks anymore. Everybody seems to be in good shape. So, I think it’s changing”, added Mr President.
Talking about the end of the pandemic, even the world health organization said that the “end of the epidemic” could be in sight, considering the death rates at their lowest since march 2020. Not to forget, the 21st century’s biggest epidemic, Covid-19, still holds the power of being an “acute global emergency”, Around 1 million people died worldwide in the first eight months of the epidemic.
Mr. Biden does seem to take the credit as the death rate post his presidency appears to lessen big time. Earlier on, around 3000 deaths used to be reported in the United States of America every day.
But it is also pertinent to mention that around 400 people continue to die from covid-19 in the United States. Even President Biden isolated himself in July after being hit by covid-19 twice. The first lady, Jill, too had covid-19 in August. The president, however, had released a statement saying that the mild symptoms prove that the epidemic is being diminished high time.

President Biden has also asked the fund of a whopping $22.4 Billion to fight the remnant of the deadly disease, Covid-19.
