Saudi man claims to marry 53 times for finding peace
Seeking peace and stability in life, the Saudi man has married 53 times in 43 years. Abu Abdullah, 63 years old said that he married so many times not to seek personal pleasure but to find peace in life.
Speaking to Saudi media, Abdullah said he first married when he was 20. His wife at the time was six years his senior. He said the shortest of his 53 marriages only lasted one night. “When I first got married, I didn’t plan on marrying more than one woman because I was comfortable and had children,” he said. “But after some time problems arose and I decided to remarry at 23 and informed my wife of my decision.”
Even two marriages could not make him happy. According to reports, Abdullah said he decided to marry a third and a fourth time due to problems between his two wives.
He claims to treat all his wives fairly and has even married foreign wives.

“Every man in the world wants to have a wife and stay with her forever… You don’t find stability in a young woman, you find it in an old one,” Abdullah said.
