Karachi police: Lahore has more crime rate than Karachi
Karachi: The crime rate in Karachi skyrocketing and the people are excruciatingly worried about the rising crime rate in the city. The police chief, however, has released a statement that the situation is not as bad many assume it to be.
The police Chief, Jawad Alam Odho, came for the media talk at the Karachi Chamber of commerce & industries (KCCI) & unabashedly denied that sheer existence of Crime in the metropolis.
Moreover, the city’s top cop also paid a visit to the KCCI where he interacted with traders & conversed about the problems they were facing. He went to assuring them of taking care of them by fully cooperating on Karachi Police end.
It is also important to mention that the industrialist & traders did give the Police Chief officer a hard time. Zubair Motiwala, one of the renowned industrialists asked the chief about what kind of role was the law enforcement agencies was playing in the city of Karachi. He went on to addressing the terrorizing crime increase in the city’s premise and the performance of the 108 sitting station house officers in Karachi. ” Kindly brief us, should we close Karachi or not do the business”, asked he.
To this argument, the Police officer, Jawad Alam, went on to saying that “the people of Karachi are their own enemies.” The sheer statement sent an anger ripple among the businessmen & industrialists & all other sitting in KCCI.

The officer went on to claiming that Lahore has more crime rate than Karachi & the people here just punching themselves in the gut. Talking about the crime rate increase, Mr. Odho claimed again that there’s a rather decrease in the crime rate in Karachi. Last year, around 18,000 vehicles were stolen but this time around, the figure is 13,000.
Mr. Odho went on to emphasizing on stressing over the fact that Safe city Plan was the need of the hour & it did impact the crime rate in Karachi. Apart from that, all the business commodities who are facing severe issues should goo ahead & promote command & control centers.
Jawad Alam Odho, Karachi police Chief further added that the installment of camara & high-class CCTV in different places has helped in improving the situation in the city of light, Karachi.
