FIA arrests Gang for sending Afghans abroad on fake Pakistani passport
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) yesterday raided Peshawar on a gang that sent Afghan citizens to Saudi Arabia and other countries using fake Pakistani passports.
He arrested the leader of the gang, Abdul Fatah, resident of Hangu, and his accomplice, Wisal Muhammad (son of Rasheed Muhammad), also a native of Hangu.
The FIA seized five passports with altered photos of the suspects and registered a FIR (No. 269/22) under the corresponding section of the law against them.
In similar reports, the Islamabad Cyber Crime Circle (CCC) arrested a gang of 10 scammers posing as employees of Saudi Arabian banks earlier this month.
According to details shared by the CCC, the scammers used Pakistani and Saudi SIM cards to trick people into disclosing their account details to steal their money. The complainant who reported the gang to the CCC said the gang gave him 3 million rupees and also robbed other people.
The FIA also arrested 12 people from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport in May for traveling abroad on fake visas.

Reports have emerged that the FIA immigration services arrested 12 people in several operations for traveling on fake visas after they got off the planes and were arrested at the airport.
The FIA arrested and confiscated the passports during the raid of gang member Abdul Fatah, a resident of Hangu who is the main agent of the gang, and on his tip another suspect, namely Wisal Muhammad, son of Rasheed Muhammad, also a resident of Hangu, arrested. The FIA also registered against the defendant in FIR case No. 269/22 under the relevant section of the law.
