Honda unveils refreshed design for new CG125
Atlas Honda enriched the motorcycle market with the introduction of the “new” Honda CG125. As always, the only change in the latest model is the new decal design.
Both the CG125 and CG125 SE received new decals while the rest of the bike remains the same. The bike maker hasn’t raised the prices of its bikes for a while, meaning the CG125 prices are standard and SE Rs. 179,900 and Rs. 210,900. Honda said last year it made 55 changes to the 2022 CG125.
Some of the changes include a slightly revised cylinder head and cylinder, a slightly revised combustion chamber design, a new transmission oil pump drive, a new gear timing drive and reinforced engine mounting points. All this means that the reliability and performance of the new model have been slightly improved.
But is the 125 Honda CG2022 really new and improved? The answer to this question may be subjective, but we agree that “improvements” are not as important as people would like.
Honda unveils refreshed design for new CG125
Atlas Honda has announced several price increases while claiming that its bicycle manufacturing is 90% localized. Despite this, demand for its bikes remains strong due to a lack of choice for buyers. The bad thing is that Honda lovers just get a new sticker without any design changes. Most want to change the design (something sportier) and get rid of that classic body shape. The company had introduced the Honda CB 125F (at a much higher price) for this purpose, right? The good thing is that you won’t have a problem getting spare parts that could be problematic if the company changed the design or parts.
Atlas Honda has been present in Pakistan for decades and is the largest bicycle manufacturer in the country in terms of production and sales volume. Despite this, the company still sells bare museum pieces today.
