PUBG Mobile is about to release a major update which will introduce new features, game mode and brand new map. The new update will also bring visual changes and updated locations for the already existing and very popular Erangel map.

PUBG Mobile update 2.2 brings a new map called Nusa, a tropical island paradise similar to the Caldera map from Call of Duty: Warzone which was introduced a few months ago. There’s also a brand new mechanic called Super Recall, which allows you to return to combat if you have a teammate alive after you die. Solo players respawn automatically, similar to Call of Duty’s Plunder mode.

The new map also adds zip lines so you can quickly switch between locations and there are elevators at every hotel in Telepak Town. Can be used to flank enemies and conserve energy. There is a new 2-seat vehicle called the Quad and two new weapons called the NS2000 Shotgun and Tactical Crossbow.

The rifle has 12-gauge grenades when firing from the hip and 12-gauge bullets when firing through the front sight. The tactical crossbow can be used to repair zip lines with ropes and set buildings on fire with flaming darts. The new game mode is called Gear Front and it gives you 8 abilities to choose from when you spawn. The existing Erangel map will get a new weather cycle, bike sheds, and structural updates in various regions for a better combat experience.
