D I Khan: Security Plan for Arba’een Chalked out
As many as over 2664 police personnel and officials have been deployed as part of a security plan to maintain peace during the Arba’een in the entire Dera Ismail Khan District.
District Police Officer (DPO) Captain (Retd) Najam-ul-Husnain Liaquat said a comprehensive plan has been chalked out to ensure security throughout the district at Arba’een.
Under the plan, the district Dera Ismail Khan has been divided into 5 sectors and in this regard a total of 2664 jawans and officers of the District Police including Frontier Reserve Police(FRP), special branch, bomb disposal squad, cannon unit, control unit and reserve contingent would perform their duties.

He said the police personnel will perform their duties along with the Pakistan Army at sensitive points.
According to the District Police Officer, 60 Majalis will be held of which 23 are licensed, 33 mourning processions of which 21 are licensed will be held during Arba’een 2022.
A control room has been set up in the District Police Office, in which DPO Dera Captain (Rtd) Najam Hussain Liaquat will monitor the entire city.
Pillion riding of motorcycle is prohibited till 19th September, 2022 while showing off of sharp things i.e knife and weapons is also prohibited.
