Pak Army flood relief operation in D I Khan

Pakistan Army set up a medical camp at Rorri village and distributed medicines to the patients while 1,600 ration bags and 204 tents, mineral water, cloths and other essentials in about 12 villages of Flood-hit Tehsil Kulachi of D I Khan District as relief and rescue operations of Pakistan Army in flood-hit areas of D I Khan and Tank District continued, here on Thursday.

Colonel Shah Nawaz of the 8th Sindh Regiment of Pak Army told DAWN, Pak Army set-up a medical camp at flood-hit village Rorri of Kulachi Tehsil where about 200 patients were checked up while medicines were provided to patients freely.

During Relief operations, 1,600 ration bags, 204 tents, 80 bags of flour and 50 First Aid Packets were distributed among the victims in about 12 villages of Kulachi Tehsil including Takwarra, Kirri Malang, Kirri Ahmed Shah, Qalandar, Giloti, Rorri, Jahangirabad, Garah Nawab, Garah Shahbaz, Garah Bakhtiyar, Garah Guldad and Maddi villages.

Colonel Shah further told DAWN, about 60 Mattresses were distributed among flood affectees in village Rorri and Jahangirabad while 1 Water pump has been also provided in village Rorri for dewatering.
