In the year of 2021-2022, Pakistan made a new record in the field of Information technology (IT) as it has managed to export various services worth $2615-815 Million across the globe.
Pakistan Bureau of statistics says that around 24.10% gain has been observed as compared to the last year which was $2107.800 Million. Computer Services contributed majorly which was around 26.40% in the month of June-July.It took the shares from $1666.310 Million to a gigantic figure of $2106.145 Million.
The total increase in the computer services were of 43.43% which took the figure from $554.612 Million to $795.480 Million. Software & hardcore consultation services in contrast had a contribution of $0.5 Million to $2.918 Million.
Other services include repair & maintenance which stood at $1.446 Million to $0.662 Million contribution.
Computer software’s exports & imports were increased 34.87% which is worth of $417.485 Million to $563.071 Million increase, while all other computer services had a share of 7.25%.
Now, talking about the information technology services, they climbed to $5.23 Million which is huge as they stood at $3.990 M before.
PBS says that contact services took a leap from $54.554 M to $215.501 M. Other contribution observed by the telecommunication services was of 2.12%.
