Rescue 1122 Teams have rescued 410 people trapped in Flood through boats in the flood-affected areas across the Dera Ismail Khan District in the last four days.
According to a report issued by Rescue 1122 Media Coordinator Aizaz Mahmood five teams of Rescue 1122 carried out rescue operations at various places across the D I Khan district including Tehsil Prova and Villages Jhok Maachhi, Bharki and Jhok Jandir, village Kahawarr in Tehsil Daraban, Kot Walidad in Tehsil Kulachi, Kot Attal Sharif of Tehsil D I Khan.
In the rescue operations, Rescue 1122 teams evacuated 410 people trapped in flood to safe places through boats and through the dewatering process, Rescue Teams are removing flood water from houses, and streets in urban areas.
Meanwhile, during the evacuation of the flood victims to a safer place in the village of Kahawarr of Tehsil Daraban, a pregnant woman gave birth to a child safely. Rescue 1122 workers also called Azan in the child’s ear. Later, both the mother and child were transferred to the hospital where their condition is said to be out of danger.
