Girls outclassed boys in BISE D I Khan SSC examination

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education D I Khan (BISE D I Khan), announced the results of secondary school certificate (SSC) annual examinations at a ceremony here on Friday.

The board chairman Prof. Ihsan Ullah, controller of examinations Prof. Zafar Ullah Marwat, heads of educational institutions, position-holder students and their parents were present on the occasion.
Announcing the results, Prof. Zafar Ullah Marwat said that a total of 15,310 students appeared in the Science Group of SSC-II (10th) examinations of which 13,112 were declared successful with the pass percentage of 85.64% while, a total of 21,370 students appeared in the Arts Group of SSC-II (10th) examinations of which 17,380 were declared successful with the pass percentage of 81.33%.
Similarly, a total of 15,838 students appeared in the Science Group of SSC-I (9th) examinations of which 9,739 were declared successful with the pass percentage of 61.49%.

A Total of 22,722 students appeared in the Arts Group of SSC-I (9th) examinations of which 13,024 were declared successful with the pass percentage of 57.32%.

In the science group, the girl students outclassed boys in the SSC examinations. Maheen Qazafi Khan, a student of Dar-e-Arqam Model School, D I Khan stood first by securing 1,077 marks out of a total 1,100. Ushna Nadeem and Neelofar Bibi, both students of Qurtuba School and College, D I Khan bagged second positions by securing 1,076 and 1,079 marks, while Bushra Rahman of Dar-e-Arqam Model School, D I Khan obtained third p[osition by securing 1,075 marks out of total 1,100.

In the Arts group, Bushra Saleem, a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) No-5, D I Khan got first position by securing 1,014 marks, followed by Aqsa Muskan, a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) No-9, D I Khan, who grabbed second position by obtaining 964 marks.

Umama Bibi, a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Paharpur, D I Khan secured third position by obtaining 954 marks.
