District Administration of D I Khan imposed ban on motorcycle riding on 9th and 10th of Muharram-ul-Haram. According to Deputy CommissionerD I Khan, there is a complete ban on motorcycle riding on 9th and 10th of Muharram.
According to Security Plan chalked by the District Police, more than 7,500 Police personnel and officers are performing their duties, CCTV Cameras were setup on every ImamBargah while blockades were setup at the exiting and entering points of D I Khan City.
On the Day of Ashura, 113 streets of cities will be sealed while Police Personnel will be on on roofs of more than 123 buildings.
Bomb Disposal Squad, Pak Army’s Quick Reaction Force, Police Elite Force will be on the spot to counter any unpleasant incident.
District Police Officer (DPO) will supervise the security conditions from Control Room set up on the DPO Office while Regional Police Officer (RPO) will supervise the security condituons of the entire D I Khan Division from control room in RPO Office.
