Three people, including a woman, were killed in heavy rains in Punjab on Monday.
Two people died after the roof of a house collapsed on them in Faisalabad, according to rescue sources.
It was learned that Ashraf, 60, and Umar Hayat, 65, were rushed to a hospital after coming under the rubble. Both passed away in the hospital.
Meanwhile, an elderly woman died and a young girl was injured when a house wall collapsed on them due to heavy rain.
The body of the deceased woman, Taj Mai, was transferred to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, according to Rescue 1122.
The girl, who was hurt in the incident, was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
“The house’s wall collapsed due to heavy rain,” said Rescue 1122.
