Following heavy rain on Monday, Karachi was submerged in water.
Because there is water everywhere in the city, the city roads resemble rivers.
Rainwater has flooded University Road, Hassan Square, NIPA, Karachi University, Safoora, and other areas. Rainwater has also infiltrated Municipality A-25 and City Railway Colony homes.
The situation has worsened in Block 11, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The sewage system has failed, resulting in overflowing sewer lines.
Karachi’s largest vegetable market has also been flooded.
The nullahs in North Nazimabad, Block M, have also overflowed, giving the roads the appearance of a pond. Rainwater has also accumulated outside the Sindh High Court and the Sindh Assembly.
Rainwater has also made its way into the Pakistan Stock Exchange building.
Four people were killed and many others were injured in Karachi earlier on Sunday after the city was hit by a second round of torrential monsoon rains.
