On Saturday, a female nurse was discovered dead in mysterious circumstances at a significant hospital in Lahore.
The nurse, 33-year-old Sonia, was identified after her body was discovered in the room of the nursing hostel at Services Hospital.
Police were investigating the death from several perspectives, but they were pointing to a drug overdose.
According to police sources, the nurse who worked in the hospital’s operation theatre had injections found close to her body.
Teams from the police and the forensics department were present to conduct an investigation and gather data.
