PML-Q President and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, only the Army knows how to control the country.
On Monday, Chaudhry Shujaat, along with Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Moonis Elahi, told reporters in Gujrat that the country would improve significantly if everyone sacrificed their “egos” along with the animals. “Today’s political leaders’ statements are laced with arrogance,” he added.
In response to a question, he stated that the decision to award a party ticket for an MPA seat in Gujarat in the next elections will be made by MNA Moonis Elahi.
He stated that all political parties should put aside their differences and put forward proposals to reduce prices.
Political ideological differences, according to Shujaat, should not be turned into personal animosity.
PTI leader and Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, for his part, stated that Ch Shujaat is the elder of their family and makes all decisions.
He predicted that new faces would dominate politics in the coming years, resulting in a sweeping transformation.
Responding to a question, he said due to the PML-N government’s policies price hike has been imposed on the public. “It has become extremely difficult for a poor man to make ends meet as rates of petrol, gas and other items have skyrocketed,” he averred.
Pervaiz Elahi said the Sharif brothers are not trustworthy as they have deceived them many a time. “Sharif family has done nothing except to hurt abuses at Imran Khan,” he added.
The public is fed up with inept rulers, he says, adding that the PML-Q will run in the next elections after forming an alliance with the PTI.
Moonis Elahi stated that Imran Khan has the ability to solve the country’s problems and that their alliance with the PTI will continue.
Moonis Elahi stated that they had promised to support the PTI and that they would do so. He claimed that before entering politics, Chaudhry Shujaat and Ch Pervaiz Elahi taught him not to trust Sharifs because they always stabbed him in the back.
He claimed that the PML-N government is dying because it has failed miserably to serve the people.
“We are not floating any new party. We will contest elections from the platform of Pakistan Muslim League,” he maintained.
Moonis said, “Insha’Allah they will triumph in by-elections.”
