Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), and the former prime minister appeared via video link on Thursday in the district and sessions court in Islamabad in relation to the defamation case he had filed against Khawaja Asif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and current defense minister, ten years prior.
Imran was cross-examined on this particular occasion regarding the statement he had made in court a year prior by Asif’s attorneys.
The court then postponed the case’s hearing until September 10.
