According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a soldier accepted martyrdom during a gunfight between law enforcement and terrorists in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Wednesday.
The military media wing added that Sepoy Waheed Khan, a 23-year-old Nowshera resident, chose martyrdom in the struggle against terrorism in the Mir Ali region.
Security forces killed three terrorists last week and found their weapons and equipment. More than a dozen terrorists were killed by the military last month in various parts of the Waziristan region.
