PTI expresses reservations over ECP’s role against violations in elections

PTI social media activist apologises for campaign against Army

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) expressed severe concerns about the role of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in combating election breaches during its top-brass meeting on Monday.

The PTI’s political committee thoroughly assessed the country’s overall political condition and future course of action.

Asad Umar, Central Secretary General, and other central and regional leaders attended the conference.

The meeting strongly denounced the ruling party’s worst lawlessness and sedition during the first phase of Sindh’s local body elections.

The Committee voiced grave worry about the ECP’s failure to hold clean, transparent, and credible elections.

The meeting also voiced grave concern about allegations of pre-election rigging by the ruling alliance during by-elections in 20 Punjab constituencies.

The group also expressed happiness over the PTI’s decisive victory in the PK-7 Swat by-elections. The group was also updated on plans for a large protest rally on July 2 at Islamabad’s Parade Ground.

Only a nonviolent democratic movement of true liberation, according to PTI Chairman Imran Khan, will lead the nation out of the disaster that slavery have thrown it.

He claimed that the governments of thieves in Sindh and Punjab are busily looting elections while the ECP remains inactive.

According to Imran Khan, the entire democratic system is being jeopardized in order to maintain the slaves in charge of the country.
