The Lahore police have been given permission to purchase armoured trucks for sensitive missions and emergencies.
The Punjab government has authorized the purchase of 35 vehicles for the Elite Force and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).
According to the channel’s report, the purchase of three armoured vehicles has been on hold for the past two years.
According to the channel report, the police will be given extra cash to purchase armoured vehicles and other equipment.
