Celebrities condemn assassination of Sri Lankan factory manager in Sialkot

The murder of a Sri Lankan manager who worked at a private factory on Wazirabad Road in Sialkot has been condemned by Pakistan’s showbiz and celebrities.

Mahira Khan, a Pakistani film and television actress, wrote on Twitter, “Ashamed!! I’m sick to my stomach! We are looking to you, @ImranKhanPTI, for answers, justice, and the removal of this threat from our country.”

Shafaat Ali, a well-known comedian, also took to social media to condemn the Sialkot tragedy. “Shame on us, shame on those who brought this day upon us,” he said.

Arslan Naseer (CBA), a popular YouTuber and novel actor, took to Twitter to say, “Stop embarrassing Islam.”

Meanwhile, top actress Ushna Shah has urged Prime Minister Khan to build “roohani madrasahs” and further radicalise what’s left of this country.
