A foreign airline flight from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan’s capital, survived a crash landing at Lahore Airport on Wednesday.
The pilot of Bishkek-bound Flight ANK-4541 attempted to land the Airbus A320 on the incorrect runway at Lahore Airport.
However, the air traffic control tower provided timely guidance to the pilot and assisted him in landing on the correct runway.
The plane safely landed on the correct runway, 36L, after receiving instructions from the air traffic control tower.
Previously, the plane was on its way to runway 36R.
On board, the planes were 171 passengers and eight crew members.
