President Zardari tests positive for corona.
Personal physician of the President of Pakistan, Dr Asim Hussain, has said that Asif Ali Zardari tested positive for corona; resultantly, he has been isolated, reported The Asian Mirror.
Talking to media on Wednesday, Dr Asim said that after various tests, it has been confirmed that the President is suffering from Corona and on the advice of the doctors, Zardari has been isolated.
Dr Asim said a team of medical experts is taking care of him and the health condition of the President is improving.
He refuted rumors that President Zardari had been hospitalized in Karachi after being brought over from Nawabshah, where he had offered Eidul Fitr prayers.
Dr Asim said reports about President Zardari being shifted to Dubai for treatment are inaccurate.
Asif Ali Zardari is a Pakistani politician who became the 14th president of Pakistan on 10 March 2024, having held the same office from 2008 to 2013.
He is the president of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians and was the co-chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party from December 2007 until December 2015.
