International Gold Rates Influence Local Prices
Global gold prices also saw a sharp rise, increasing by $153 to $4,713 per ounce. An additional premium of $20 was added, contributing to the surge in domestic rates.
Silver prices in Pakistan also experienced gains, rising by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 7,984 per tola.
The sharp increase in precious metal prices reflects growing international demand and market volatility, making gold and silver key investments for traders and investors in Pakistan.
