It is paramount that PU is listed in the general category of the universities; while it leaves many science universities behind in terms of ranking, and the overall research output of PU scientists in the subjects of Chemistry, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Earth and Environmental Sciences from January to December 2018 has almost reached its apex being more advanced and way higher than the other science universities of Pakistan, surpassing them all.
PU has secured a 7.21 score while COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, being on the 2nd number, has secured a 3.25 score according to the ranking list.
