Will the Ukraine-Russia conflict affect Pakistan?

Ukraine-Russia conflict is indeed tense. In a war situation where the responsibility of the political and military forces of both countries increased. At the same time, there is uncertainty, conflict, and uncertainty at the international level. The dire state of any war causes damage to the world. We have the latest examples from Afghanistan and Iraq which have caused irreparable damage to the region. Even in Pakistan, the effects of the Afghanistan war are not hidden from anyone. Life and property are mortgaged for a long time. Russia is also located in the same region. After the Russian invasion, Pakistan is again facing problems.

If this war continues, the effects of these problems could be felt by the Pakistani people as well. After the Russian invasion, Pakistani business and trade, which was already faltering, is facing more difficulties. Rap id trade has had a negative impact. Not only that, but the psychological collapse of the stock markets is very disturbing. Russia is a great power and rich in oil reserves. Exports have been hit hard which is why the effect of the oil crisis is intensifying, ts of the crisis are beginning to be felt in the form of inflation. Crude oil prices are skyrocketing. Ukraine is considered to be the main importing country of Pakistan items besides carpets, machinery, paper, and other items. After this difference in the supply and demand of other commodities — importing food crisis, there were Pakistani industrialists who seemed concerned. Other raw material markets, including oil, wheat, and steel, closed higher. Many sectors will be directly affected. The construction industry is very important in Pakistan’s economy at the moment. This war will not only increase the prices of raw materials but also lead to a shortage of exported goods, which is likely to directly affect the common man .

Pakistan is the most demanding country for steel and steel is imported from Ukraine which is good and cheap in terms of quality and price. But in these circumstances, the burden is increasing. On the other hand, Pakistan also gets defense equipment from Ukraine, but the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia has created a state of chaos and if this war continues like this, Pakistan will lose its military imports. Which, of course, doesn’t work for us. A large number of Pakistanis, including students, are trapped in the war-torn Ukrainian region- the evacuation process is underway. The situation where these students were deprived of their education and there is a danger of wasting their academic year, many Pakistanis also became unemployed. In a country like Pakistan where unemployment is already rampant, young people are clapping their hands for employment. There will be a reduction, which will not put an end to the prospects of rising inflation. We need to show resilience to save world peace, the human community from catastrophe and the economic downturn. Instead of war, the path to dialogue must be paved so that a peaceful and concrete solution can be found. History has shown that in any war, the only loser is humanity, while politics is the winner.
