ASI Naveed Iqbal’s family perished in Murree tragedy

ISLAMABAD: Nearly two dozen tourists died as a result of the harsh weather after being stranded in their automobiles in Murree owing to severe snowfall.

The cop kept calling for help as his car was stranded in the middle of the road in the middle of a snowstorm, but no one came to the family’s aid.

Earlier, Divisional Emergency Officer Abdul Rehman reported that 21 tourists perished of exposure to the cold at the hill station, which has been declared a disaster area with army troops dispatched to rescue visitors still stranded there.
