When Almighty Allah has mercy on a nation, he rewards them with wise men. We are fortunate to have a great personality like Allama Iqbal who has the status of a teacher of humanity, and whose thought, philosophy, and practice revolve around the Qur’an. Whose words have the power of flight and are a beacon of thought and consciousness. Allama Iqbal created turmoil among the Muslims of the subcontinent, as a result of which the Muslim nation became entrenched in action. He was an ocean in terms of his poetic thought and expression. Iqbal’s poetry is a treasure of thought, imagination, and intellect.
The young generation is the most valuable asset of any country. The youth plays an important role in the development and survival of the country. Allama Iqbal has tried his best to guide the young generation and has urged them to recognize their true place. Allama Iqbal’s words will always be a beacon for the youth. Young people need to learn that sticking to principles is an essential part of success.
uqabi ruh jab bedar hoti hai jawanon mein
nazar aati hai un ko apni manzil aasmanon mein

Iqbal’s concept of Shaheen mentions all the attributes that are found in a man of faith or a man of darvesh. Iqbal’s binoculars had seen that in the revolutions that were rising from the west to the east, the bubble-souled nations could not survive. Iqbal wants to see the virtues of hard work in the youth of their nation so that they can reach their goal without taking into account the difficulties of life.
By naming the youth of the nation as Shaheen in his poetry, Iqbal wants to create a high level of thought, passion, action, breadth of vision, and courage in them, but he also wants the fulfillment of his curiosity. The Shaheen is the darvesh of the bird world. He is the only ruler of the universe who loves spaces and distances. Shaheen’s life is full of determination.
According to Allama Iqbal, the likeness of Shaheen is not merely poetic but this bird has all the characteristics of Islamic pride. Adopt flight and foresight. He considers movement as life because the secret of success lies in the struggle itself so the youth should not sit idly by in one place.
It is also a fact that one of the major and important reasons for the current state of the Muslim Ummah is the inactive Muslim youth. Today our youth is living a meaningless life. Their thinking is limited and their mind is stagnant.
All that is needed is to awaken this Shaheen youth of Iqbal. The youth of the nation have to work hard and fulfill Iqbal’s dream by playing their role in building and developing this country so that we can make Pakistan a great country. We are so fortunate that we have the best strength and numbers of youth people.
Young people are our strength. But unfortunately, today’s youth is unable to understand this. They want to adopt foreign imitations. They do not want to know Iqbal but Shah Rukh Khan and Lady Gaga and consider them their idol. It is also our fault that we gave our generation TV mobiles and the internet ahead of time for our individual freedom but never felt the need to give our precious time. So how can we hope that our youth will be our hope? How will the nation become proud? How will he reach the heights like Iqbal’s Shaheen?
