Professor Gregory, the founder of Genocide Watch, said that; India was currently in the eighth stage of genocide against Muslims, just one step away from genocide. Professor Stanton criticized the RSS, saying that the RSS was a Nazi-style organization full of hatred that appreciated Hitler.
RSS would draw inspiration from fascist movements in Europe, particularly the Nazi Party of Germany, which it openly praised for advocating racial and ethnic purity. India has a history of pluralism, but with the BJP, leading the government since 2014, we have seen it erode secular principles by aggressively advocating for a pure Hindu state.

It had earlier issued a genocide alert for Assam and Indian held Kashmir. It was attended by four hundred community and interfaith leaders from around the United States, Canada, and other countries. Words like persecution, cruelties, genocide, killing, beating are practically applied by Modi’s BJP which dented the image of India in the World and proved it a cruel and lying state.
India will lose India if it would continue the cruel handling of its minorities. Minorities are humans or nationals of the state that renders services in reshaping, building a state equally as natives do. Ashutosh Varshney, a Brown University professor and author of the prize-winning Ethnic Conflict and Civic Life: Hindus and Muslims in India, believes riots in Delhi bear some of the hallmarks of an organized pogrom. India has been there before.
In 2002, in Gujarat, when Modi was the state’s chief minister, more than 1,000 people were killed in religious riots. Most were Muslims. While Modi was later cleared of wrongdoing by the country’s judiciary. Critics say that he could have done much more to prevent the attacks. And in 1984, again in Delhi, an estimated 3,000 Sikhs were targeted and killed after Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated by her Sikh bodyguards. In both cases, experts say, riots could not have been conducted without some complicity on the part of the police.
When Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2004, school textbooks published by the state under his control portrayed Hitler as a savior of the German people and included chapter titles, “Hitler, the Supremo,” and “Internal Achievements of Nazism,” with a section on the “Ideology of Nazism” reading, “Hitler lent dignity and prestige to the German government. He adopted the policy of opposition towards the Jewish people and advocated the supremacy of the German race.”
The danger to Muslim minorities in BJP-ruled states is grave. Uttar Pradesh, India’s largest state with a population of 200 million, seems particularly vulnerable. Muslims comprise about 18 percent of the population there, and they are spread out all over the state. There was a big riot in Muzaffarnagar in 2013, and the police were nowhere to be seen. UP is also ruled by a politician, Yogi Adityanath, whose anti-Muslim prejudice and fervor is well-known and has been openly displayed.
To divert attention away from his government’s mismanagement of the economy, Modi and BJP leaders turned towards increasingly hostile rhetoric and policies against the country’s 200 million Muslim citizens, Mr. Amit Shah routinely refers to Muslim migrants as ‘infiltrators’ and ‘termites,’ and has promised to pick them up ‘one by one and throw them into the Bay of Bengal.’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), came to power in 2014 – on the back of a Hindu nationalist agenda, one in which anti-Muslim animus and discrimination features in mainstream political discourse and government policy. These realities have brought Muslims to the brink of genocide in India and Kashmir.
Indian Muslims are no more safe in India as Hindu nationalists have declared an open war to eliminate them. This genocide has state backing at all levels including the police, the army, and even the higher judiciary. The seeds of hatred have already been sown for many years, which will prove disastrous in the days to come. PM Modi is anarchic by nature and hence he has no respect for human rights, norms, values, and international laws. He shall be remembered in history as another Nazi and the Butcher of Gujarat, Kashmir, and Delhi. Whenever there is a human rights violation anywhere in the world, one nation shines.
