The doleful morning of 7 January was very painful for everyone but not for the opposition and mafias. Suddenly, Murree’s aesthetic pleasure turned into grief. There is no doubt that the place of Murree is known for its soothing atmosphere and attraction. But the havoc situation of Murree has lost its charm, presently. On the other hand, water scarcity and bad roads stand out to be the most worrisome for the tourists. These are the Paramount factors that prove stumbling blocks on the way of tourists and for the people who live in Murree.
Coming to the point, there is a dire need to have a glimpse at the Murree incident. More than twenty to thirty people had to say goodbye to this mortal life due to worse conditions. Many people lost their dears forever but the remaining tourists who were suffering from this chaotic situation had to sell themselves at the hands of mafias just to save their lives. It was a bad time for tourists. Scathingly, no one could understand their inner torment. Beyond reality, it was a big opportunity for mafias to loot the tourists. A big chunk was demanded from them to stay in the hotel for one night, right under the nose of the district administration. However, it was a golden chance to get an advantage from the situation for mafias who charged exorbitant amounts of money, illegally.
Regrettably, plenty of questions arise here: Where does humanity lie? Is this a human-friendly system? Is just army enough to cope with this challenge? What is about the government and administrative staff? To find answers to these questions from the core of the heart regarding humanity is more inexplicable.
Moreover, the opposition played a usual role in this drastic condition by criticizing the present government. Everyone just showed condolence at this situation and carried on their politics by getting advantage of this incident. Incidents are parts of everyone’s life but to play with these incidents is the dark face of Pakistani politics.
Despite all these facts, Murree has lost its aesthetic pleasure in snowfall. Fear has come about to the tourists to move in Murree further. Snowfall, in actual form, no doubt is a very charming and attractive sight for everyone but the negligence of the administrative staff of Murree and the harsh attitude of mafias sitting in Murree has made the situation worse for the coming tourists. Sadly, now the situation of Murree has proved detrimental to the tourists. In short, there is a need to save humanity to cope with these adverse challenges and most importantly to put an end to mafias from the root.
