At the beginning of the speech, Dr. Muhammad Arshad Naqsh Bindu said that Dargah Khoda Sharif is a place of healing and spiritual worship for thousands of people, where they do not return with empty hands but with positive outcomes.
Dr. Shazia Aslam Soomro, Special guest of Indus cottage library network, Islamabad, Pakistan, and federal secretary for health said while addressing at Quaid-e-Azam Auditorium Complex, Shah Faisal Mosque Campus, International Islamic University, Islamabad that giving importance to the culture of books leads towards success and we must take part in it.
However, Dr. Ghulam Asghar Abbasi, a Consultant of the Development Bank, said that Mehran valley is the land of Awaliya Allah. In 222 A.H., Mukhadim Kohra witnessed this chain of events through the book of the light of the Ummah. DR Manzoor Ahmad Wisriyo vowed that the book is a collection of the history of Sindh and it is a great gift for the people of Pakistan. Peer Zia ul Mustafa said Dr. Naeem Anwar Nomani had translated this book of a great history into Urdu with untiring efforts and struggle.
In addition to it, Altar Asim, former director, Sachal Chair, Shah Abdul Latif University stated that the whole of Sindh is a mine of diamonds. Dr. Altaf Hussain Khuro said that Dargah Khora has been a very good school since its inception; it has given knowledge to scholars from Asian states to the Indian Sub-Continent. It is still going on under the leadership of Makhdoom Nadeem Hashmi.
Last but not least, Agha Noor Muhammad Pathan, Chief Coordinator at Indus Cottage Libraries Network (ICLN) said that “Tareek Aena Jahan Numa” the first book in history on Farsi language in 3 Volumes was written by Makhdoom Mohammad Aaakil. He further added that with the support of Makhdoom Abdul Rahman Shaheed Trust, the Library under development is in process in Khairpur Mirs and other districts of Sindh Province which will keep awareness among the new generation in educational institutes about Sindh history and the role of scholars in literature.
To sum up, Makhdoom Nadeem Ahmed Hashmi, the shrine of Aliya Khuhra pays thanks to Agha Noor Muhammad, Indus Cottage Libraries Network (ICLN) team, and shariah academy International Islamic university. He assured that they will continue the legacy as per the footprint of ancestors and expedite and carry out the historic investment in the literature of Mehran valley. He has also offered invitations to students to visit and arranged financial assistance programs such as Scholarships for MPhil and Ph.D. Scholars/ students.
