Political instability in Pakistan

Political instability would always, remain the part of Pakistani politics. Until and unless the judicial system is not legitimately applied at all. However, there are multiple issues behind failure of politics in Pakistan but the worst reasons could be considered, lawlessness, unfair elections and misuse of judicial system. What the Pakistani constitution says, is really not being performed as it is. In fact, if any one goes against law is not legally punished once, would always be repeating the action over and over again. This is what happening here since the inception of Pakistan. Military interventions, inequality, corruption, aristocracy, favoritism and lack of fair judicial system could be the finest examples further to explain the discrimination of law in this country.

Moreover, dynastic political system and democrats demagogues and an absolute dictators have frequently remained one of the greatest source to destabilize the whole country from the day one. As Maleeha lodhi writes, the personalized nature of politics is closely related to the dominant position enjoyed throughout Pakistan’s history by a narrowly based political elite.

Undoubtedly, Pakistan Muslim League Noon (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s party (PPP ), have dominantly been placed in our political arena from day one until now. Therefore, neither we have a stable political system nor any positive change is seen yet. Unfortunately we are still suffering from multiple socio-economic and political issues. This examines they were only focused on polices which truly were benefited for them to fulfill their own needs rather of public interest at large.

On the other hand, we can have multiple countries in this world including Germany, Canada and Switzerland who has very defined and successful political system. Indeed, the reason behind their success and stability is they do and perform what their constitution recommends rather than, gaining of personal satisfactions or quest for power. Definitely, if any of them ever goes against law is constitutionally punished and restrained from unlawful activities sooner than later.

Last but not least, what could be the best approaches to resolve the political destabilization and what would be the significant methods and techniques to evolve a better political system.

Firstly, What the country’s constitution defines , must be implemented as it is. Unskilled and corrupt politicians must be kicked out of the political sphere. Every one would be equal before law. Those who are involved to discriminate the constitution would be punished legally as soon as possible.

Furthermore, Selection of politicians would largely be depended upon public vote. Thereby, it is also important to vote for a leader who really can understand the situation critically and have the capability to make very advantaged and remarkable policies for public interest.

Secondly, this is must for the public, always to be awarded about the political mechanism, how does actually it works? Whether, it is improving the quality life of citizens, included education, health, and employment opportunities as a whole or just limited to a specific and conspicuous classes.

Now, question arises how would the public become aware of their socioeconomic problems? The only answer to this question would be an enlightened mind who really understands the situation rationally rather of bothering upon ambiguity and falls statements. After knowing, all these they really would have been questioning and pressurizing to their politicians. Either, to handle the situation critically or be terminated from the curtained position.

Finally and most important, what are the prerequisites to which we would obviously have a remarkable and enthusiastic judiciary system? Which definitely would be performing greatly to control and stop any of the wrong doings or unjust activities in society. First and foremost, to have an highly skilled, fair mindedness, unprejudiced, honest and impartial judicial judges and magistrates who really could play widest role to deliver justice to every individual irrespective of gender, ethnicity, class, creed, nation and biasedness. Apart from this, meritocracy, would be the finest way to appoint the highly skilled officers who really know how to handle a situation rationally.
