Each and every person has right of liberty to live his own life with dignity and independence without any hesitation or any restrictions. All peoples around the globe have these rights by birth. No one can deprive these rights temporarily or permanently. These rights are essential to maintain peace, harmony and balance in society. If any country or nation doesn’t provide these rights to their peoples than it will be a great threat to mankind and cause destruction and instability in the society.
There are hundreds of rights for the development of mankind, but the most essential rights are freedom of expression and dignity of life. Which is also called highest level of a person’s desire.
All the religions around the world spread peace, love and harmony between the people only to maintain the stability in society and protect their basic rights. They also provide many rights to common people to live their life with full of dignity and without any pressure or discrimination. All the religions demonstrate their followers about the rights given to the people by the religion to maintain religious harmony and peace full environment in society.
Similarly there were many bills and decelerations were made to protect these rights of people in past as well.
The first ever human rights declaration in history is Cyrus cylinder a clay tablet containing statements. In 539 BC Cyrus the great conquered Babylon and did something extra ordinary which shocked all the world. He freed all the slaves and permitted them to live their own life with their own choice. He also allowed the common people of Babylon to choose their religions freely without any restrictions. He also permitted them perform their religious activities in their region freely as well. Which was miracle at that time. So it’s not wrong if we call it the building block of Human rights in world.
Than In 1215 Manga carta made the king of Great Britain subject to law which means no one is above the law. Each and every person is equal before law. It also provided protection to the people of Great Britain from the cruelty of the king as the king was subjected to law and also succeeded to maintain rule of law in their region. Similarly in 1628 bill of rights was passed which was also great achievement for establishment of human rights in the British society because it set out essential rights to the people of Great Britain which was need of hour at that time .
In 1776 United states declaration of independence also provided right of life and liberty to their peoples. Finally there were 30 rights liste Universal declaration of Human rights for first time in 1948 which strengthened all the rights of peoples fantastically.
History of world is full of such decelerations I personally admire it a lot, but as a follower of Islam. I feel proud when ever I read Quran and Hadith. Because in Quran and Hadith all the rights of peoples are clearly mentioned. In Quran rights of parents, relatives, orphans, neighbours and even the rights of war prisoners are clearly mentioned. So as law abiding citizen of world we a must have to follow these declarations and bills to protect the rights of peoples and maintain peace and prosperity in society. Otherwise it will burn the peace of society and humanity as well
