A teacher is called ideal when there are necessary ideal factors and motivations in his teaching process. For example sincerity of intention, intellectual influence, and passion for building society.
If we consider the life of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then he was not the kind of teacher who sat down after reading a book or giving a lesson and thought that he had fulfilled his duty. He used to be interested in every aspect of the life of his trainees. He used to share in their every pain and sorrow and joy and was concerned for their welfare every moment. Allah Ta’ala has said about this attribute of his: “Undoubtedly, there has come to you a Messenger from among yourselves, on whom your sufferings are deeply felt, and who is extremely eager for your welfare and extremely kind to the Muslims.” (Surat al-Tawbah: 128)
The word “teacher” is a combination of four words, but it holds the reins of the entire society. In this one personality, the decline and development of society lie. All these amazing inventions and changes you see in the new world revolve around this one personality. A teacher’s position is that of a leader. The mason has a claim, Allah Almighty has placed a great responsibility on the shoulders of the teacher, the position given to the “teacher” in our religion, Islam, is unlikely to have been given to him in any other religion.
The importance of reading and teaching cannot be denied in the religion whose beginning is from the word Iqra. Karna used to teach me how to face new challenges in this world. Due to this knowledge, the man got that position which even the angels did not get. The angels prostrated Adam (peace be upon him). The life of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) consists of complete education and training, which is his example of having immense qualities. A characteristic among them which may have had a miraculous effect on the education and training of these Prophets is their compassion and kindness, kindness and benevolence and gentleness. Therefore, the Holy Qur’an has mentioned this characteristic of the Holy Prophet and called it a great reason for the success of the Holy Prophet. Allah Almighty says: “Therefore, it was the mercy of Allah, on the basis of which he became gentle to the people, and if he had a strong temper and a hard heart, these people would have dispersed from him.” (Al-Imran: 159)
A student of biography knows very well how much torture was inflicted on him, no effort was spared to break the mountain of sufferings and pains, but instead of being bored with these people, he used to pity them. And the Prophet (SAW) was always worried about what method should be adopted so that the truth would reach their hearts and they would come on the path of guidance.
The characteristic of prophetic education and training is if today’s madrasas and teachers keep it as a principle and have a compassionate attitude towards every student like their own children, more than teaching the book, they should share their pains and sufferings and help them every moment. If we are concerned about well-being, this process of teaching and learning will not be just a temporary pastime but will create intellectual and intellectual development of the students, improvement in their abilities, and beauty and charm in their personalities. It is observed that the students feel closer to the gentle and kind teacher. If the personality is scholarly, the students adopt his teachings and the effects of this teacher begin to show on them quickly. The teacher should also take care to warn the student if he slips, but on any such occasion, do not satisfy his angry feelings with too much anger and reprimand, but also take into account the student’s self-respect in the warning. Keep it and pray to Allah Almighty to avoid this kind of harm in his favor in the future.
